Texas native Richard H. Tye practices in the areas of wills, probate, trusts and estates, estate and gift taxation, and income tax on behalf of the firm’s clientele. Mr. Tye received his B.S., and D.V.M. degrees from Texas A&M University in 1972 and his Juris Doctorate law degree from Baylor University in 1989. In addition, he earned an advanced law degree of Masters of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from New York University in 1990. Mr. Tye was admitted to practice in the state courts of Texas in 1989 and to the courts in New York and the U.S. Tax Court in 1991.

While in law school, Mr. Tye served as Notes and Comment Editor on the Baylor Law Review. He served from 1998-2006 on the Tax Law Exam Commission for the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Tye is Board Certified in Estate Planning & Probate Law and Board Certified in Tax Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
